New music
So I've downloaded a lot of really awesome music lately.
Josh Record :: Pillars
I had heard a few of the songs from this album on Grey's Anatomy this past season, so I was excited to find that an album had been released over the summer. here is a YouTube link to one of the singles that I particularly enjoy.
Sam Smith :: In the Lonely Hour
Apparently everyone else knew about Sam Smith before me, but I saw him on the VMAs and immediately downloaded his newest album. So good. The first thing that came to mind when I heard him was that he's sort of like a male Adele? Idk. I like him a lot, though. Here's one of my favorite songs from the album on YouTube.
U2 :: Songs of Innocence
I found out that U2 came out with a new album without any sort of announcement (much like Beyonce did with her latest album), and even better, Apple was making it available for free if you use iTunes or any iOS device! Chances are all you folks reading this have an iPod/iPhone/iPad or use iTunes, so just go into your library and it should be available for download. I really enjoy this new album, especially for it being free, but not nearly as much as I liked No Line on the Horizon or How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb.
